News Snatch: The Last Of Us DLC, Diablo 3 And Tearaway Music

First up, some fisticuffs with the Injustice: Gods Among Us – Ultimate Edition launch trailer. The special edition will also see the launch of the PC, PS Vita and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.

A report has suggested that a third of console game spending will be digital by 2017. As the Xbox One hard drive is not replaceable, I find that hard to believe.

Movie news now, with news that the Assassin’s Creed movie, starring Michael Fassbender, has slipped a few months and will now be on our screens on August 7th, 2015. Also coming to a cinema near you soon (ish) will be the Temple Run movie. Yes, really.

The music of Tearaway is featured in this new trailer.

In shocking news, a PC developer has slagged off consoles. I can hardly believe it myself, but it is true, Palmer Luckey, 21-year-old inventor of the Oculus Rift has said consoles are “too limited”.

“Will Remote Play on the PS Vita be available for Diablo 3 Ultimate Edition on #PS4?” The answer is, “Yes, and it’s awesome!” say Blizzard.

In other Remote Play news, it has been revealed that all games are capped to 30FPS when using the Vita to play PS4 games.

“We regret to announce that Wii Fit U will now launch in retail outlets on 13/12, 1 week later than the original date of 6/12″ tweeted Nintendo. Oh no, how will we cope? Quick, someone set up a support line immediately!

Blood of the Werewolf is coming to the PSN, Xbox Live Arcade, Steam and the Wii U.

“Publishers are wimps” says Michael Pachter, talking about publishers being reluctant to up prices despite bigger investment than ever in content. Thanks Mikeybabes, but £55 per game is quite enough.

A trailer for the Beyond: Two Souls Advanced Experiments DLC, which does not look like Portal at all.

Secret Ponchos will be coming to PlayStation Plus in the U.S. in April. Nope, never heard of it either, but it’s for PlayStation 4.

Three more screenshots from InFamous Second Son, looking gorgeous.

Our fave PS Vita champion, Shahid Ahmad, has explained how publishers felt the Vita was failing and his cunning plan to fix the problem.

“Even our favourite partners like Sega and Sports Interactive. At a meeting with Miles [Jacobson, Sports Interactive founder], he spent the first 15 minutes saying how shit Vita was.”

“He wasn’t being rude, he was being forthright and honest. But what he didn’t know was I had been told to tear up the rule book. You don’t change the course of supertanker by saying you want to go another way. You have to take radical action.”

The Last of Us single player story DLC will be revealed tonight at PS4 All Access.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Gravity Rush will remain in the PS Vita PlayStation Plus collection “for the foreseeable future”, even though they have been the main games for over a year.

And finally, a Need For Speed Rivals Gymkhana video.

  1. Ken Block is an amazing driver. That Gymkhana video is amazing. I just wished it had anything to do with the actual game besides a few “obstacles”.
