News Snatch: Tales of Zestiria, Free SSX And PlayStation 5

Greetings, first Snatch of the year then and with it a surprising lack of videos (and news, actually) so let’s start with a load of screenshots for Tales of Zestiria which is coming to PS3 to the franchise’s 20th anniversary.

Sony are going to have a little rest and then start thinking about the PlayStation 5 according PlayStation Software Product Development Head, Scott Rohde, who spoke to MTV and said:

“As soon as you launch a new console you have to take a breather, there’s gonna be a couple of years where we’re just enhancing this machine and making it as great as it can be. And of course very soon, we’ll start thinking about what we’ll do next. That’s the culture at Sony. We always have to do something that’s bigger and better than what’s already been done.”

Almost makes me want to buy an Xbox…

The second LittleBigPlanet DC costume pack arrives this week, it will set you back £4.79 but is cross-buy for LittleBig Planet 2, LittleBigPlanet Karting and LittleBigPlanet PlayStation Vita.

The PS3 version of SSX is now available for free for Xperia smartphones, but only Xperia phones. It does a little check to see what sort of phone you have which obviously you cannot get round and certainly should not consult Google to find a way around the checks. All clear? Do not do that. That would be naughty.
