Vessel from Strange Loop Games is latest title that will be console exclusive to PS3 and will launch in early March.
The game places you in the pants of the inventor Arkwright, who has created living machines made out of liquid called “Fluros”, which have gone a bit haywire and have started trashing the place.
It appears Arkwright has never seen Terminator 2.
The bodies of the Fluros are composed of thousands of physically simulated fluid particles and this allows them to reform into new shapes, flow through barriers, regrow lost limbs, chemically combine with multiple fluid types and “much more.”
Before you hit play on the video you may wish to note the rather awkward still image the video has. I can assure you that is actually part of the background and not Arkwright’s Mr. Happy hanging out of his trousers.
No price has been announced for the game but I would expect it to be around £10-£15 mark. If you have a bit more spare cash you might like to invest in some magnetic gloop, your very own Vessel turbine, containing a real live Fluro that responds to magnetic fields.
That will set you back $59.99 plus another $15 postage and packing, but you do get codes for both the PC and PS3 versions of the game as well as the magnetic gloop.

It looks good, pretty in places and the puzzle mechanic sounds interesting. I’m interested.
