The GAME page (which has now vanished) said the title is “explosive finale” to the Arkham series and the caped crusader will face “the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever.”

As you can see from the packshot, the new title will feature “Rocksteady’s uniquely designed version of the Batmobile” which you can drive! Woo!

  1. sounds like this might be set after City rather than another prequel.
and Rocksteady back as the devs, should be good.

and, the game hasn’t even been officially announced yet but it seems like they’ve already got exclusive preorder content. >_<

    • Just being picky but Rocksteady never did the “prequel” in Arkham Origins…that buggy mess of a game was done by Warner Brothers…the fact that Rocksteady are doing this one will bring joy to many who experienced that mess of AO…

      • I think that’s what hazelam was saying.

  2. Get on my PS4!

  3. Would this be the first big multiplatform series to go next-gen only?

Although I suppose they could have spin-off games on PS3, 360, Vita and 3DS like Blackgate.

    • Elder Scrolls, Mirror’s Edge, The Witcher.

      • I forgot about The Witcher 3, that’ll probably be released first.

Mirror’s Edge will be amazing, no idea when that’s coming though.

Elder Scrolls Online is a (very bad) spin-off from a different developer, but I suppose it is technically the Elder Scrolls series.

  4. Yesssss! At last something PS4 to get excited about! :-)

  5. Ive been playing through the first 3 games again. Just as ive finished origins this is announce. Perfect timing.
