Alien: Isolation is one of the most anticipated titles for gamers this year but many have dreamed for a game based on the original Alien film, and thanks to The Creative Assembly that dream is about fulfilled.
Alien: Isolation Nostromo Edition reunites almost the entire cast of the original film with Sigourney Weaver (Ripley), Tom Skerritt (Dallas), Veronica Cartwright (Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (Brett), and Yaphet Kotto (Parker) reprising their roles, with only Ian Holm being replaced by an voice actor. As you can see from the image below, the characters likeness have also been faithfully reproduced.
The first mission, Crew Expendable, is set just after Brett has been killed and you play as Ripley, Dallas, or Parker and try and coax the acidic fiend out from an air lock. The second mission, Last Survivor, is set right at the end of the film and finds Ripley in a race to reach the air lock before the Nostromo self-destructs, presumably picking up Jones the cat on the way.
Want some more good news? Anyone who pre-orders the game in the UK will be upgraded for free to the Nostromo Edition which includes the Crew Expendable mission. The Last Survivor will be a pre-order bonus at select retailers which have yet to be announced.
