Ad In The Sims 4 Gameplay Trailer Pops Up Showing Premium Membership Option

EA has released a 20 minute long look at The Sims 4 in a new gameplay trailer, showing off various elements of the gameplay from interactions between Sims to some building. However, during the demonstration an advert appears offering the players a chance to get a Sims 4 Premium Membership, something which has been kept pretty quiet by EA in all the advertising for the game.

The advert pops up just after the 13 minute mark, and the description of it says, “Become a Premium member to get early access to 3 new packs, with exclusive items. Your Sims can throw a spooky costume party, camp in the great outdoors, and toast to the new year in style.”

There’s no other details as to what this Premium membership will include, but it’s likely that those who join will get access to all the new content first. EA is yet to officially fully detail the membership and the cost, but now that it’s out expect to hear news about it in the next few days.

  1. Imagine it will just be like Battlefield 4 premium, season pass with a few extra perks.

  2. All of the sims sequels have effectively been improved graphics but less actual content.
Then they charge you more for it, and as an extra slap in the face make you pay ridiculous prices for a few bits of extra furniture/clothing. Haven’t bought a sims game since 2, and I thought THAT was a rip off compared to the originals!
