Project CARS Limited Edition & Pre Order Bonuses Drive Out In To The Open

Bandai Namco has released details on the pre-order bonuses and Limited Edition version for Slightly Mad Studio’s Project Cars, which launches this November on PS4, Xbox One, and PC while the Wii U version launches next year. So if you decide to spend the extra cash on the limited edition you will get a steelbook case, and a book titled ‘Project CARS: By Racers 4 Racers’ which gives a behind the scenes look at the development.

The limited edition isalso  similar to the Driveclub Special Edition in that you’ll get five cars to use in any of the game’s modes. These cars are as follows.

  • Ford GT40 Mk IV
  • BMW M1 Pro Car
  • McLaren F1
  • Sauber C9
  • Mercedes-Benz AMG C-Coupe DTM

That’s not all though. If you pre-order Project Cars you’ll get access to another three automobiles in the Modified Car Pack, adding some custom machines to your arsenal. These cars are the Ruf CTR3 SMS-R, Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster, and the Ariel Atom 3 Mugen. Again these will be usable in all game modes.

  1. I kinda lost interest in this after the Wii U delay, my Playstation and Xbox will be busy with Forza Horizon, Drive Underscore Club and The Crew. Don’t think I’ve got time or money for yet another racing game on the same platforms.

  2. For the extra tenner, well worth it & im a sucker for steelbooks anyway ;)
I prefer proper circuit racing myself & whilst i love the GT franchise, its a long wait until a PS4 version, this should fill the gap nicely. I’ll have DriveClub too but only the Plus version unless i enjoy that too. :)

  3. I’ll just give the P+ version a try first.

  4. It’s going from a drought to a flood for racing games on PS4, and I want them all!
Are the five cars exclusive to limited edition or are they unlockable through play?
