The Last Of Us Remastered has made it to the top for the third week in a row, holding back Watch Dogs from taking that territory.  The top ten remains largely unchanged except for Sniper Elite III falling to 11th, while Titanfall re-enters climbs back to the 10th spot. There was only one major new release this week with Risen 3: Titan Lords which didn’t actually appear in the all formats chart top 40, but debuted in 12th spot in the PS3 & Xbox 360 chart.

Didn’t expect TLOU to be top for 3 weeks running, thats pretty good. I guess a lot of people who played it on the PS3 have re-bought the game as well as people who possibly owned a 360 first time round and didn’t own a PS3.
It would be interesting to see stats of how many people (incl. age groups) have delved straight into new gen consoles without owning a console beforehand.
This reminds that Metro Redux is released soon. Are TSA doing a review? I’ll probably pick up a copy as its only £30 for basically 2 games but I’ve been waiting for a review before pre-ordering just in case there’s some major flaws but everything sounds positive so far.

Not 100% on the review for Metro Redux but as someone who has played through both games they are fantastic.

I didn’t play TLOU on PS3 but I completed my first play through yesterday.
I can see why it’s still sitting pretty at the top. Great game

Ah, that’s the stuff we want to see. People who didn’t play this first time around (ie. PS3) and are only coming to it now. It shows how it’s completely justified with sales and enjoyment for a new generation of gamer.
My mate’s just played through it (with me listening to much of it) and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Sure, the entire Skype call was utterly littered with “f*** you, Naughty Dog” but only because they’d crafted such a wonderful title where it really affected you emotionally. The latter half of the game was sprinkled liberally with an extension: “f*** you, Naughty Dog. I’ll get attached to this character and you’ll probably kill them too!”. :-)

Hang on, how little has other stuff sold that Skate 3 is back in the charts?!

Skate 3 is regularly in & out of the top 40/20 – Makes it that much more of a crime that Skate 4 isn’t likely to happen. :(
What with Tony Hawk only bringing out a mobile game (damn him for raising hopes of something new & then dashing them expertly!), the landscape looks pretty sparse in terms of skating games.

Can we all just take a moment to celebrate that Aliens Colonial Marines has left the top 40!

I’ll drink to that!
