Four Wheels Bad: Two Wheels Good – The Motorcycle Club Is Coming

Yeah, yeah, I know the Animal Farm reference in the title is a little too stretched. I’m a cup of coffee behind on the day and in a rush. I didn’t want that to stop me telling you about the exciting new motorcycle racing game coming from Bigben Interactive next month though. I like motorcycles.

It’s called The Motorcycle Club and it’s an arcade racer on two wheels. There are 22 bikes, including roadsters, superbikes and custom models from big manufacturers like BMW and KTM as well as the four big Japanese bike makers. There are 20 circuits which promise a range of terrains, suited to the different bike types. You’ll be able to earn in-game currency to customise your rider and buy bigger bikes too, as you strive to beat all the other clubs to the championship.

For the social among you, there’s also a 4-player online multiplayer mode. It sounds, and looks, like a nice little downloadable arcade racer and if they price it right I could imagine having a bit of fun with this.

The Motorcycle Club is coming to Xbox and PlayStation consoles – current and previous generations – as well as PC, in November.

  1. All wheels are equal but some wheels are more equal than others? :)

It looks interesting, i don’t think i’ve seen a motorbike game done like this before, more like Driveclub than Moto GP.

    • The Burnout Paradise DLC had motorbikes and was (possibly) free. Was some of the best DLC I have played and easily the most fun I have had on a motorbike.

      • It was free and it was brilliant! This looks good too, you don’t see many arcadey bike gea anymore.

  2. Similar to what Peter said, if it’s cheap enough it might be worth a bash.

  3. Its a shame how these days you have to pay for garbage .. while in prior years so many gems would be giving away for free …….

Social networks were supposed to give us gamers a voice .. as of late it seems like the customers spending the $$$ has no say in any of These matters … I mean we are still begging for USB support and the ability to play music on a $400+ console

  4. I do love motorcycles, so I’m interested, hope it turns out to be good.

  5. This does sound intriguing but I would have loved a more sim focused game, it’s been too long since Tourist Trophy!

    • No, we need an arcadey bike game, there hasn’t been one since Road Rash!

      • Or Full Throttle on the spectrum

      • Haha ok I’ll submit! I have to about I was a huge fan of Road Rash which is why I’m going Road Redemption will be good.

      • I really should proof read before typing anything on my phone!
I meant ‘admit’ instead of ‘about’ and ‘hoping’ instead of ‘going’.
My comment makes it sound like I’m drunk which is unfortunately not true!

  6. Strangely enough, I used the same paraphrased Orwellian quote this morning in reference to commuting to work.

  7. Road Rash 2 on Megadrive is one of my alltime faves, so interested in this!

  8. Best biking games I’ve ever played on console were Riding Spirits 1&2 for PS2 which were pretty much Gran Turismo on bikes simulations.
An arcadey two wheeler would be just as welcome right now and could be the saviour!

    • Never heard of these Freeze, with Google it!

  9. Im liking the levitating tree in pic 2,haven’t seen a tree do that in ages.

  10. This looks cool .. I will begin to follow this title
