Dragon Age Inquisition Video Shows Character Creation & Battles On PS4

PlayStation Access has released a video that takes a look at the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition, with the 16 minutes worth of footage looking at the character creation modes, including the new class types. There’s also a look at some quest structures and the way the battle system is incorporated this time, looking pretty similar to both Origins and II in that regard.  The story does feature a new protagonist but will feed into the overall arch that has been set by the previous two titles.

I’m personally looking forward to Inquisition as the Dragon Age series became one of my own favourites from last gen, with the locations and characters both some of the best I had encountered in any RPG. DA: Inquisition will be releasing on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, with Europe getting it November 21st, while North America gets it November 18th.

  1. Cheers, Aran. Add to my Watch Later list. This and LBP 3 videos will make for great viewing after work. :-)

  2. After the steaming pile of disappointment that was Dragon Age II, I’m not sure what they can do to get me interested in Inquisition. Possibly release it with all the inevitable DLC and then put it on sale for some ridiculously cheap price. Then I might just take a chance on it.

    • They could always make a really good game, garner wonderful reviews and the full support of gamers. You know… it’s possible. :-)

      • They did. Then they threw it all away with a sequel. Although reviews for DA2 were only a bit worse than Origins. Which is weird, because it was a big stinking pile of toss.

But yes, it’s possible Inquisition could be good. Hard to see how it could be worse, really, it’s just a question of how much they’ve learned from their mistakes. If anything.

      • Judging by the video, a lot. Very impressed so far.
