Bloodborne Delayed Until The End Of March Next Year

We were expecting to see Bloodborne at the start of February next year. Now the title will be releasing almost two months later, towards the end of March, at least in Europe and the US.

The delay is a response to the recent alpha test, so that the developers have time to implement features and fix issues with the game which were pointed out. It’s not too long a delay, thankfully, and should mean for a better game because of it.

We were really grateful for all the player data and feedback we received from those who took part in our recent limited alpha test, and this extra development time will allow us to better integrate these learnings into the game.

Bloodborne will now release first in the US on the 24th of March 2015, before heading to Europe on the 25th, and with it arriving in the UK two days later on the 27th. The game is a PlayStation 4 exclusive.

  1. *sigh* I understand delays are normally for the best but this is the only PS4 title I’m looking forward to at the moment.

    • Just keep saying to yourself “Assassin’s Creed: Unity… don’t let it release too early or it’ll be like that”. ;-)
