Bandai Namco has confirmed Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, and with it the fact that the series is going completely new gen by releasing on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. There is no last gen version so if you’ve been playing this series on console and want to reach a conclusion you’ll either have to buy a new gen machine or get it on PC. The sub heading for this game is ‘A Last Storm’ which, along with the press release, suggests this may be the final Ninja Storm game coming out.
Who knows if it will be the final Naruto game though considering the Storm series alone has sold over 12 million copies, so other arcs may pop up. Then again the Naruto manga has now reached its conclusion so that series may completely be buried forever with the developers moving on to other projects instead. There’s no firm release date though the game is scheduled for release in 2015. If you’re a Naruto fan though you may want to keep your eyes peeled for this.
