Frogmind Games has announced that it is bringing Badland to consoles and PC in a Game Of The Year edition. Badland originally released on iPad in 2013 and it won quite a few awards it seems. Apparently this GOTY edition includes four times as much content as the original release, with the game length sitting at around 15 hours across 100 levels. There’s also 100 co-op levels and 27 local multiplayer deathmatch stages.
Frogmind hasn’t ventured alone in bringing Badland to big screens, and is working with both Blitworks and Frozenbyte. Blitworks worked on the console ports of Fez and Spelunky, while Frozenbyte has made games like the Trine series. A release date and price is as of yet unknown, but platforms will include PS4, PS3 Xbox One, Wii U, Vita, PC, Mac, and Linux.
