March has already given us a big chunk of gaming goodness to chew on for the next few weeks, but we’re not done just yet. Although some will label this week’s line-up as a stopgap between the next big wave, there’s still some great titles waiting in wings.

Grand Theft Auto V’s online heists are finally here. Well, they should be today. This long-awaited four player co-operative mode brings new missions which mimic the single player heists, allowing you to plan your approach, assign roles, and hopefully come out with plenty of cash. Watch out for our stream later today.

Available as of today, DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition does exactly what it says on the tin. Two years after its original release, developer Ninja Theory has revisited this high octane reboot of the franchise, topping up not only the resolution but the framerate too. Aside from being tarted up, DmC will also feature “rebalanced gameplay” alongside new content as well as the game’s slew of post-launch DLC.

Turning up the heat on this week’s PlayStation Store round-up, Flame Over will finally be making its way to Sony’s handheld. Developed by Laughing Jackal (OMG HD Zombies, Fighting Fantasy) this quirky new release combines fire-fighting with role-playing mechanics. Players will be tasked with barging their way through randomised environments, strengthening their hero as they struggle against raging fires.

This week also sees the return of cult top-down murderfest Hotline Miami. Its sequel, Wrong Number, is reportedly the last game Dennaton has planned for the series. Instead of playing as the enigmatic Jacket, you’ll now be able to select from a roster of crude characters, each with their own abilities and play styles that can be altered by switching masks.

  1. A good week. Looking forward to the GTA Heists, and Far Cry 4’s Yeti DLC – will be nice to go back to Kyrat. Should also be able to redeem that bit of DLC (weapons & costumes) for Dying Light with this weeks’ Store update.

    • Ah is that the one that you get a code in the box but it doesn’t work? I could download two of three voucher codes but not the third.

      • Yes, I believe its because GAME had a timed exclusive for the content and as such even us people with codes have to wait until it becomes available for purchase on the Store.

    • And I think The Evil Within’s first DLC is out this week too!

  2. Looking forward to GTA heist, it’s been gathering dust there.

Just playing DMC right now, best in the series

  3. Woah, Hotline Miami 2 looks brutal, hope there’s a PS+ discount on that tomorrow.

  4. also out this week is episode one of Powers, in the US at least.

still, the first ep is up on Youtube for free, and it can be viewed from outside the us.
