Oddworld New ‘n’ Tasty Coming To Xbox One Next Week

Oddworld Inhabitants, Inc have announced that Oddworld New ‘n’ Tasty will be coming to Xbox One on 27th March via the [email protected] self publishing program, with the imminent release coming along with the game’s price: $19.99, €19.99 and £14.99 in their respective regions.

Oddworld New ‘n’ Tasty will mark the first outing of an Oddworld game on a Microsoft platform since 2005’s Strangers Wrath. For those that don’t know, New ‘n’ Tasty is a ground-up remake of the original Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee which has been developed by Just Add Water Ltd.

New ‘n’ Tasty was released last July on PS4 and PC to universal acclaim (and it’s actually part of this month’s PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection, as well). Our very own Matt gave the game a glowing review saying ” In a gaming world packed with HD remakes, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty deserves to be judged as more than a game re-skinned for a new console generation. Its gorgeous visuals make it look like something that was built from the ground up for the first time, and the platforming puzzles are every bit as smart and challenging as what you’ll find in any game today.”

  1. Strange, because this is our free ps plus game for march on ps4, so much for xboxs first class parity clause bullshit, not trying to hate on xbox just that retarded parity clause and now they do this the hypocrites

    • The parity clause was pretty much scrapped months ago. Guacameelee, OlliOlli, Thomas Was Alone and several others have all released on Xbox after playstation.

They finally admitted its better to have a game later than not at all.

  2. I kind of feel like it’s a slap in the face that they don’t say a word about the PS3 version, considering how it originally was supposed to release alongside the PS4 version.

I bought my brother a PS3 and preordered this on his account as a BDay gift, as his birthday is on July 23rd (the original release date), and he has been waiting for this part of his gift for nearly 3/4 of a year now.
