Chances are, you’ve probably heard of Grand Theft Auto V. In short, it’s the big daddy of open world video games, galvanised by diverse gameplay, intriguing characters, and a uniquely satirical backdrop. Now, eighteen months after its initial launch, GTA V is finally coming to PC with a fat stack of improvements. Chief among these is the visual overhaul, placing the PC version way above its last-gen counterparts as well as the newer iterations on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PC gamers will also benefit from a raft of updates and improvements, including the long-awaited online heists.

One game we haven’t played already is NetherRealm’s Mortal Kombat X. This latest addition to the popular franchise brings with it a fresh cast of characters mixed in with some classics, all of whom play a part in the game’s extensive story mode. For many, the bulk of MKX will be found in its multiplayer options as kombatants duke it out for supremacy, occasionally glancing over to a scrap of paper headlined “Fatalities”. Despite running on a heavily modified version of Unreal Engine 3, this latest instalment looks stunning and comes tagged with several bonus features, including the new Factions meta game.

One part Demon’s, one part Shadow of the Colossus, here’s a downloadable game that many are sure to fall in love with. Developed by UK indie Acid Nerve, Titan Souls pits players against a gallery of gigantic bosses, with only one hit point and a magical arrow at your disposal. Brutal by its very nature, the game is softened up by a gorgeous lo-fi art style and some truly unique enemies. Dying in Titan Souls is a frustrating experience when you factor in the annoying checkpoint system but that didn’t stop our Teflon from giving it a sound 8/10.

  1. Titan Souls for me! Very much looking forward to it. Anyone know the price?

  2. I saw that mkx had finished downloading this morning before I set off to work. Shame I didnt have time to play it

  3. I’ll get Pandoras Tower if it has the half price offer. If not I’ll still get it, just not until I’ve got time to play it or a sale.

    • Yeah, I really want it too, but there are a lot of other games to get through first!

  4. Mortal Kombat for me =D been playing since midnight for 4hrs lol just went back on it now after wee sleep xD
If anyone has it and wants a fight please add my PSN name is same as here remember to post you are from TSA looking for players for King of the Hill matches for Respect Points trophy :)
    Thanks I advance

  5. Want to pick up MK but heard its heavy on the micro-transaction. I am not a fan of that plus also you only get a few characters too the rest are DLC

    • There’s a £15.99 unlock everything from the vault option and also a quite ridiculous “easy fatality input” option of 5 for £3.99 I think it was. There’s 24 characters available though so I don’t think that’s too bad.

      • You don’t have to use microtransactions just earn gold Koins by simply playing the game.
MK9 had 4 Character DLC – Kratos, Freddy, Rain and one other character that that I cannot remember
You could just wait for Ultimate Edition with all DLC and characters next year?
