A new platformer is heading to release this Autumn and that is Tinertia, a game without a jump button. Instead the teams at Candescent Games, Section Studios, and Reverb Triple XP have combined to make Tinertia a title where the way to move forward is by rocket jumping. Main character Weldon is armed with a rocket launcher that has unlimited ammo.
However instead of using that in a combat role players will have to learn when to fire those rockets for propulsion, while avoiding the many traps in Weldon’s path. There will be over 70 levels to play through, as well as challenges and leaderboards. Some challenges will include getting through a stage using as few rockets as possible, as well as getting as far as possible with just one life.
Tinertia is coming to PS4, Xbox One & PC.

Sounds something like the mechanics of Aaru’s Awakening or Kick & Feckit (or whatever that game was called on the Vita). I prefer my platforming with a jump button.
