New Versions Of Gears Of War And Dishonored Rated In Brazil

We’re going to have to do a little bit of guessing here, but it looks like Dishonored may be getting a make-over and coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

A Brazilian ratings board has listed something called the Dishonored: Definitive Edition but there is no indication as to which console(s) this is for. As the PS3 and Xbox 360 have already been graced with a Game of the Year edition with all the DLC it seems odd for Bethesda to release the game again for those systems.

Rumours of Dishonored HD have been floating around the internet for a few months, so this only adds fuel to the fire.

The same classifications board has also listed Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, and again there is no indication of which consoles this is for. I think we can safely assume this is not for PlayStation, so it could be a remaster for Xbox One, or perhaps a compilation of all the games and all the DLC in one pack for Xbox 360.

With E3 just round the corner we expect to find out details very soon.

  1. Let’s all just forget the last generation ever even existed.

  2. I’d much rather have Dishonored 2 to be honest.

  3. I have the original and all the DLC on the PS3, but there would have to be some substantial improvements in order to for me to spend out on an HD remaster, although having the Heart speak to you from the PS4 controller would be pretty cool….

  4. Dishonoured has been given away on 360 games with gold and on PS3 with PS+ so can’t see there been many that haven’t had the chance to play it.

  5. Dishonored is a great game and outshone the new Thief game in almost every department so it definitely deserves to be played by a new audience, but i’m much more looking forward to Dishonored 2.

  6. Dishonoured is a great game, but I recon this’ll just be the same game at higher res and framerate. Not really needed given the availability of the game and how well optimised the PC version is.

The Gears game sound more like an anniversary release of the first game, similar to what we got from Halo. That could be pretty cool, but I’m not too sure if I want it more than a trilogy-pack.
