Kerbal Space Program Is Destined For Arrival On PS4

Squad has announced it is teaming up with Flying Tiger Entertainment to bring Kerbal Space Program to the PS4, though there is no release period yet announced. For those who have not witnessed Kerbal Space Program in action it is essentially a game where you build rockets to fly into Space. But you learn from mistakes and must create rockets that won’t explode, leading to the death of your Kerbal astronauts.

On the official site Squad has stated that the DualShock 4 will allow for “easy & intuitive” rocket building, similar to the PC version of Kerbal Space Program. The PC & PS4 versions will remain separate entities, so development won’t be compromised on either platform.

  1. This is a nice surprise, the game never ran well on my creaky old laptop, I’d be happy to fork out a few quid to kill- I mean, launch lots of Kerbals into space. I think I made orbit once, I wasn’t very good at it!

  2. I expect i’ll be sucked into this space game’s time continuum.

  3. I’m always weary of games that are time sinks, but I think I`ll give this a go…

  4. Really want this, although it seems that a lot of the game’s appeal comes from the mods available on PC.

  5. i tried the demo of an early version on PC, had very little idea about what i was doing.
hopefully a console version will have some tutorials, the PC version might but i haven’t played the latest version.

i would like to get it on console.

and the content that was available when i played the demo is a small fraction of what’s in the game now.

  6. I took a look at it on you tube this morning and found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrjpELy1xzc
That sold it to me right there.
