[Updated] Gauntlet: Slayer Edition Heading To PS4 On August 11th

Helldivers developer Arrowhead has announced it is bring Gauntlet: Slayer Edition to PS4 this summer, making it the second game the studio will release on the console this year. Gauntlet was released on PC in September last year, but the PS4 version will be an updated edition of that include improved game mechanics, as well as visual upgrades too.

Update: Gauntlet: Slayer Edition will be releasing on 11th August, and is up for pre-order with a few bonuses for £15.99.


Gauntlet: Slayer Edition features four player co-op, as well as single player in a journey that will have your party descend deep into the depths. There is a mix of randomly generated and built levels, with there being a bit of choice in how to proceed on the journey. A new game mode will also be introduced in Gauntlet: Slayer Edition which will allow players to explore their monster slaying abilities.

  2. Hopefully Arrowhead has done some major work on it since the original PC launch.

    • Was the PC release that bad? I was desperate to try it but never bought it when it was last on sale.
