New Unravel Gameplay Shown, Still Looks Like The Cutest Thing Ever

One of the biggest surprises that came out of E3 this year was a little game by the name of Unravel, being published by EA. Unravel took the stage again at Gamescom, and they were quick to show off just how popular the game has already become by displaying fan art and photos sent in by people across the globe.

As for the new gameplay they showed, the video can be found below, though this is not the live version of the demo they had up. On stage, the fellow controlling the main character failed a couple of times so it was a little more disjointed but still looked every bit as good.

  1. Certainly looks interesting, but it keeps reminding me of this video…

Warning: Contains upsetting scenes of wooly people. And a song of the sort of quality very few bands can manage after 30 years.

  2. I’m looking forward to this, beautifully realised environments and the character animation is full of charm.

    • Couldn’t agree more. Talk about having a game win you over with charm in a matter of minutes. Wonderful stuff. :-)

  3. I’m already so much in love with this game, I want it right now. Looks splendid, both visually and gameplay wise, and like there just enough of a challenge with puzzles and such – there should really be more games like this.

  4. anybody go “ahhhh” when he hugged that fish thing?

    uh… me neither. >_>

  5. This turning out to be a really beautiful game. Really looking forward to it.
