Trackmania Turbo, the franchise’s first step in to the world of console gaming, has been delayed by Ubisoft until “early 2016”.
“It’s through their comments and various playtests that we have received valuable feedback for Trackmania Turbo,” posted Ubisoft in a blog. “We take that feedback very seriously and we’re committed to ensuring that our fans – both old and new – will always have the best experience possible. With that in mind, we have decided to move the release date of Trackmania Turbo to early 2016.”
The extra time will be used to enhance the campaign, polish the multiplayer, and add a new challenge feature. There were suggestions that the game would be getting VR support and the delay would place the game within the release window of PlayStation VR and Oculus Rift.

Well that is a shame as I was very much looking forward to it. However, I’d rather they took the time than release unfinished.

Looks like a cracking game with fun driving mechanics. I can wait a few months or so as it’ll take that long to download the 18.4GB NFS Beta…

I think we’re all happy to wait for the best version they can make, looks like a fun game.
