The Indivisible Prototype Is Available On The PlayStation Store

Here’s something new for PlayStation, a prototype – not a demo – of a game on the PlayStation Store. Indivisible is being created by Lab Zero and published by 505 games, the latter having already committed sizeable funds to development. However, the team require more funding so are running a crowdfunding campaign on indiegogo, hoping raise another $1.5 million.

“Think of it as the first tutorial dungeon from a completed game, ” say Lab Zero, “The general sense of how the game plays is there, but right now only the most fundamental mechanics have been introduced.”

The full game will only be triggered if the crowdfunding succeeds, and will have around forty hours of playtime and twenty-seven characters to play. There will also be a number of cross-over characters from other indie hits:

  • Annie from Skullgirls
  • Calibretto from Battle Chasers
  • The Drifter from Hyper Light Drifter
  • Juan from Guacamelee
  • Lea from Curses N’ Chaos
  • Shovel Knight from… Shovel Knight
  • Zackasaurus from Super Time Force Ultra

What so you think of this new way of promoting a crowdfunded game? Let us know in the comments. You can download the prototype for PlayStation 4 by clicking this link.

  1. Interesting, well if the prototype is free to download and play then I say why not, worth a try! Looks like a promising game.
