Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has been available to download on the PS3 since April this year, but there weren’t any trophies. That seems like it will be changing though as a trophy list for Rockstar’s title has now appeared online. It isn’t yet clear whether these will be applied to the current version, but it appears a physical release is coming on December 1st.

That would be awesome. I can’t imagine it looking particularly great on 30 inch plus screens. Shame they can’t put trophies in on the Xperia phones!

Is this the PS2 classic for PS3? I’m confused. I’m sure I bought that years ago, certainly not this year. I got all 5 of the GTA PS2 classics.

This is the mobile port from IOS. 360 got it last year but its still very strange happening now espesially with Sony announcing PS2 games on PS4 so we will most likely get the PS2 version with probably with trophies from emulation while PS3 gets the upgraded version.

Picked it up in the black Friday PSN sale for £3, in the potentially misguided hope that this will be included straight away in whatever happens for ps2 emulation on PS4.
Though now I realise there a physical edition releasing for ps3, maybe not.

Either it’s a HD remake for the PS3(which would be very odd considering the PS3 is now a daddy system and is taking it easy nowadays) or Rockstar is just patching in trophies for a 10/11 year old game. If it is out on disc, then i guess that is something i will have to get in 2016. Rockstar doesn’t do remakes though so what the hell is this?

Ah, Knights of the Round. Which is an annoyingly long process to get. And emerald/ruby weapon, which are trivial once you do all that.
Which still all adds up to less time than you might have to spend getting a platinum trophy on more recent RPGs.

Apparently, the FF7 port is not the PS1 version but the latest rerelease of it from a few years back and the PC version is said to be a shoddy port. :( Hopefully, FF7 is the original on PS4 and not FF7:Yeah, you can be an end game character within a few minutes.

Going to assume this is the HD port 360 got a while back.
Basically GTA SA was ported to iOS/Android, got a bit of a facelift & a few songs removed due to licencing issues.
Due the song problem the classic version was removed Xbox Live & PSN, the team that did the mobile port used that version of the game when it was released on 360.
It was rumoured to be releasing on PSN for ages & then randomly it reappeared on the store as the PS2 classic earlier this year (no idea if it received any modifications to the soundtrack), which now makes this version a bit odd on PS3.
Guess we’ll find out what’s up this week since the Sony Experience is later this week, maybe it’s one of the 1st PS2 Classics for PS4. Tho that still doesn’t explain the PS3 version.
