A new year brings a brand new, completely revamped News Snatch! Just joshing it’s the same same as last year, trailers and and bits of news that have somehow managed to slide down the back of the TSA sofa and have been rescued with a thorough rummaging. As usual we start with a video, this one is for Moving Hazard, a forthcoming PC shooter in which you can use zombies as weapons which is exactly the same premise as Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps.

Splatoon‘s latest update brings two new weapons based on, er, washing machines.

Oddworld have announced that New ‘n Tasty has finally gone gold on PS Vita, expect news of a release date very soon.

More chop-socky action from the forthcoming Yakuza: Kiwami. The game is out in Japan this month but we’re still waiting for news of localisation for the West.

Housemarque’s PS4 exclusive, Alienation, will hit the EU PSN Store on March 23rd, with a US release following shortly afterwards. Housemarque have a fantastic track record so hopes are high for another top notch arcade shooter.

Worms 4 has now been released for Android and is available via the Google Play Store with a limited 50% launch discount available. Currently £1.99 / $2.49 / 2,49 €, usually £3.99 / $4.99 / 4,99 €.

Thomas the Tank Engine has been modded in to Fallout 4 and it is rather disturbing.

It looks like Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture may be heading for release on PC. Eagle-eyed internetists have also spotted listings for The Witcher 3: Enhanced Edition arriving on 5th February.

UPDATE: And five seconds after I post the news, CD Projekt post this message on their forums: “There’s no Enhanced Edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that we are aware of, this is some kind of error that we will look into,”

Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak has a new trailer, which shows the game looking very different from the space-based strategy that the series is known for.

Stranger of Sword City has been rated for PC and Vita by ESRB. It’s an RPG in which players explore dungeon environments and attack creatures using turn based combat.

And Finally another mod, this time for ARK: Survival Evolved. This one lets you build structures out of meat, a feature that has been requested by Lady Gaga.
