News Snatch: Final Fantasy XV, Dark Souls III, And Way To The Woods

Argh, so much news cluttering up my desk here at TSA Towers, time for another News Snatch to tidy up some of the mess. Right then what have got here, footage from Final Fantasy XV. It does appear to be more like Bayonetta than Final Fantasy though, and who decided to mash it up with Metal Gear Solid?

Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still a thing. “[Beyond Good & Evil 2] has to be great,” said Michel Ancel. “When we started [Beyond Good and Evil] there was not that much pressure. People are – the crazy thing is that [Beyond Good & Evil] was really not that successful and nobody talked about the game…and now, year after year, more and more people are talking about [Beyond Good and Evil 2].”

  1. Another snippet for fans of the Skate series… EA’s Instagram and Twitter is being spammed to oblivion at the moment by people requesting Skate 4!

    • Well that’s not going to happen while EA are making money for old rope by flogging Skate 3 to sheeple who follow YouTubers, is it? :P

      • At this stage, Skate 3 remastered is probably more likely! :D

      • I know Skate 4 is unlikely, etc.. but it’s a pretty impressive/amusing torrent of abuse going on over there!

  2. A tiny part of me is starting to worry about FFXV and that I’m maybe not going to enjoy it.

    • Hmmmm, I’m a little concerned but also very interested. There’s more of an action-RPG about this FFXV that looks appealing, a transition from the rather staid FF fighting format. Will it be better than the normal format? Will it alienate a section of the fanbase? It’s going to be very interesting to see how this pans out but at the moment I’m very eager to get my hands on it.

      • To be fair, the FF fanbase is already alienated. There’s the “everything post FF6 sucks!” crowd. There is “FF DIED AFTER 7!” Crowd! “Only whiners cry about FF” crowd….. and i will be here all day listing the crowds.

If it’s a better system then that boring as hell corridor simulator with a crap plot and boring characters, game that was 13, it will be a far better game.
