Take Two’s Latest Financial Results Reveal Grand Theft Auto V Has Sold Over 60 Million Units

Take Two Interactive has released its latest financial results, and within this report the company has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto V has now sold over 60 million units worldwide. In May 2015 the company had reported it had shipped 52 million copies of GTA V to retailers. Continuing the GTA news Take Two also announced that it would be releasing Liberty City Stories on Android devices soon, with the game already available on iOS devices.

WWE 2K16 sold more than WWE 2K15 though actual figures weren’t revealed. The 2015 Hall Of Fame showcase DLC will release for WWE 2K16 on February 23rd. 2K Games will be expanding Civilisation Online, which released in South Korea, to places such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau and China. Mafia III could release anywhere between April and December this year, with a date yet to be pinned down.

  2. Wow. And that’s even more special given they didn’t even have to come down much with the price, compared to other games. @Activision and others: That’s what you could do with a quality game series, if you didn’t push out annual sequels.

  4. Not surprised – although not my personal favourite, I think GTAV is probably the best game ever made.

  6. Surely Rockstar must announce their new project soon? Been aaaaages since GTAV.

    • If it’s not Red Dead something, I’m not interested. I’d even be happy with a PS4 remaster of Red Dead Redemption.
