Forza is the latest major Xbox game series to be making the little leap over to Microsoft’s burgeoning Windows 10 platform, as the company continues to blur the lines between console and PC.
Forza Motorsport 6: Apex will be heading to Windows 10 sometime this spring. However, this seems to be more of a technology showcase and demo of the game, albeit a sign of things to come. It’s not the full game, and it comes as a free download from the Windows Store.

It’s designed toward newcomers to the series, with a 12 event Showcase Tour to introduce some of the cars, and featuring a new objective and scoring system. The Spotlight Series, however, will be updated regularly with new content and challenges.
There are, however, 63 cars in the game, from the 2014 Audi R18 e-tron quattro and 2017 Ford GT to classics like the 1973 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am SD-455. You’ll be able to race them around 20 track variants of six tracks –Â Brands Hatch, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Rio de Janeiro, Sebring International Raceway, Top Gear and Yas Marina.
