Black Ops 3 Eclipse DLC To Launch April 19th On PS4

Activision has confirmed that Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3’s next DLC pack, Eclipse, will be available on PS4 from April 19th. The DLC pack will include four new maps to run around and shoot in, as well as the next part of the zombie story. Season Pass holders will get Eclipse at no extra cost, and while no price as been confirmed it is likely the pack will be available standalone at £11.59. That’s the price the Awakening DLC is currently sold for.

The four maps included with Eclipse are Spire, Verge, Rift, and Knockout. Verge is based on the World At War map of Banzai which has been updated to reflect the distant post-apocalyptic future it is set in. Spire puts players in an airport terminal that floats in the clouds, which means you could fall off if you don’t watch where you’re going. Rift’s location is a military compound positioned above a caldera, with tighter corridors than the other maps. Finally Knockout takes players to a Shaolin temple with 1970’s interior decoration.

The zombie story continues in Zetsubou No Shima on a Pacific island. In this next part Element 115 has affected humans, animals, and plants, with all these needing to be fought off as you advance. The Xbox One and PC release will follow a month after the PS4, with PS3 and Xbox 360 owners unable to get the content.

  1. Just finished the single player campaign and I didn’t think much of it. Wish they would go back to basics. The sic-fi/future stuff is rubbish.
