NIS America has confirmed that Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors will be released in this September in North America and Europe. The North American audience will be able to purchase the game on the 20th, and European players will gain access on the 23rd. The first Criminal Girls was released in these markets last year, but failed to impress Jim when he reviewed it.
Criminal Girls 2 introduces a new cast of characters to guide through the Reformation. One of the group can’t be trusted though, and it will be up to you to find out who when playing. NIS America has announced content changes to the western release as well. Some of the artwork has been redrawn by the original artist. It is not safe for work but you can see an example of the difference here. Once again the term punishment will be replaced with motivation, with some other terminology changing too. The motivation scenes won’t contain any dialogue, and the game will not have English voice over either.

I still haven’t got far through the first one. I was quite enjoying it but the “motivation” scenes are so awkward. I was playing it on a train on my way to work and a little girl sat next to me without me noticing… and there I am spanking on screen some tied up black mage big boobed lady like a poised ninja….
