Neverwinter Arrives On PS4 This Summer

Having launched on Xbox One last year, Neverwinter is finally making the leap over to PlayStation 4 this Summer. Launching as a free-to-play title, the name will be familiar to fans of both the PC roleplaying series as well as Dungeons & Dragons in general. It’s developed and supported by Cryptic Studios, the same team that brought us Star Trek Online as well as pioneering MMO, City of Heroes.

In Neverwinter, players chose from a variety of class and race combos to create their own hero in the D&D universe. The active combat system is well-suited for console play as adventurers party up to tackle a bevy of missions and co-op dungeons. According to the announcement, everything in Neverwinter will be free to access, including the game’s post-launch expansions.
