The last bits and bobs from E3 are dripping out and Maximum Games have announced that it “will continue to expand upon all of the highly acclaimed qualities the original is well-known for,” with The Golf Club 2, which is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
The publisher will also release Troll & I, a third person action game where a large troll helps a young boy escape from his village, on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

I have a bit of a problem with “The Golf Club” and also the follow up, “The Golf Club 2”. You see, on Sunday I played golf with a mate of mine and within a split second of hitting his tee shot on the second he uttered a torrent of foul mouthed expletives to make Roy Chubby Brown blush. At no time during “The Golf Club (1)” did any of the characters utter un-sanitised filth from their electronic mouths when they topped their shots.
Then, by the 13th hole it started chucking it down. We soldiered on to the 14th but halfway down the fairway we had trouble seeing through the wind and rain. My friend by this time was uttering more expletives, though this time regarding the £450 he wasted on new irons just a few days previous.
You see, both the original and the new version of “The Golf Club” just do not deliver on that level of realism.

I do hope that your mate didn’t also splash out on “top” golfshop fashion items to really look the part, only to be reduced to looking like a ranting hockey playing tit as seen by other members of the club awaiting tee off at the second :P
