Nintendo’s Selects range of games is trying something new, later this year, as it broadens to include eShop games for the first time. Up until now, it’s always been about bringing some of the great retail games on Nintendo’s platforms down to much more affordable price points, but with Fast Racing Neo and SteamWorld Collection, it’s now bringing formerly digital games to store shelves in Europe.
Both will be made available on disc for Wii U on September 30th, and while we don’t yet have pricing, it sounds like both will be a pretty good deal. Fast Racing Neo is being bundled alongside the upcoming Neo Future Pack, which adds eight new tracks to the game and will also be available for download at the same time, while the SteamWorld Collection combines SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Heist into one bundle, including the latter game’s The Outsider DLC. This is the first time that Heist has been available on the Wii U, to boot.
For more on either game, check out our reviews of Fast Racing Neo, SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Heist.

I’m excited for the FAST dlc.
This is a good way for Nintendo to bolster their lacklustre physical release schedule.
