Here Is What’s Coming Next For Uncharted 4

Naughty Dog has released a surprise update for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Naturally, it’s multiplayer focused with a free new map and several key changes.

Update 1.12 will take players to New Devon as they tear apart the long-abandoned homes of legendary pirate captains. It also shakes up the way ranked play works with players now being rewarded based on match performance as well as their win/loss record. That’s great news, especially for lone wolves who have previously had to carry dead teams into these firefights.

In a livestream broadcast earlier today, the studio also teased its next major content drop titled “Bounty Hunters”. Expect new guns, new mystical, new abilities, and a shedload of customisation options for the game’s characters. A new, objective-based team mode is on its way too, ND promising it will share more details in September.

Oh, and Village will be coming back too. VILLAGE!

Senior Editor bursting with lukewarm takes and useless gaming trivia. May as well surgically attach my DualSense at this point.

  1. I’m not into the multiplayer really (mostly because I have my arse handed to me every time I go on). But I’m looking forward to the single player DLC, whenever that turns up.

  2. Did they actually say that village teaser was a new mp map or could it be a teaser for the co-op mode?
    That’s due this autumn.
