Wattam Goes Multiplatform, Out Late Next Year

Created by Keita Takahashi, the chap behind Noby Noby Boy and Katamari Damacy, Wattam is being made in collaboration with Funomena, founded by thatgamecompany’s Robin Hunicke. That should give you and idea on how far it is on the bonkers scale of weirdness, and if it doesn’t there’s a video below.

The game was originally announced as a PlayStation exclusive with Sony Santa Monica helping out with development, but a new interview on Venturebeat with Robin has revealed that the game is now multi-platform.

“Wattam will come out further into next year, probably,” said Hunicke. “We haven’t announced a ship date yet. That’ll be on the PlayStation 4 and some other platforms as yet unannounced.”
