Star Trek: Bridge Crew had a pretty great reveal back at E3 2016, calling in a bunch of actors from the old shows to play the game and then enthuse about actually getting to take on the role of a bridge crew officer. Originally planned for release on November 29th, it’s been pushed back until March 14th next year.
In a terribly brief update on their blog, Ubisoft wrote:
In order to deliver the best game experience possible at launch, we have decided to push the release of Star Trek: Bridge Crew to March 14, 2017. Star Trek: Bridge Crew is designed exclusively for VR and we want to offer a compelling and engaging experience. Command of the USS Aegis is right around the corner!
It’s a shame, as this could have been a key title for all three VR platforms in the run up to Christmas, but there’s no point releasing a VR game until it’s as good as it can and needs to be.
So, I guess you’ll want that E3 trailer to tide you over until then.
