Outsider Studios is bringing its musical adventure game Wailing Heights to PS4, though a release date is yet to be confirmed. The title was released on PC earlier this year and has received a generally positive reaction from players. Wailing Heights casts players as Frances Finklestein, ex manager of a band called The Deadbeats. It has been decades since the band were around, with each of them passing away. When the last of the band members passes Frances receives a message to go to Wailing Heights for a gig.
Soon after he finds himself in a jail cell for the crime of being a living person, as it turns out Wailing Heights is the home of ghosts, vampires, werewolves, and other monsters. Frances gains the power to possess bodies and it is through this function players will explore Wailing Heights. The aim is to find a way to get Frances’ body out of Wailing Heights and back to the world of the living.
