Midboss’ 2064: Read Only Memories has suffered a couple of delays in the past. Originally it was scheduled to be available for the PS4 and Vita on August 16th, but it was then delayed until late September. Obviously that time passed and little was heard. Now an announcement has been made that 2064: Read Only Memories will be available on PS4 on January 17th, but a Vita date is missing.
Along with the PS4 release PC players will receive a free update that adds the improvements made for the console version, with rewritten dialogue, new puzzles, and a 29 person voice cast. 2064: Read Only Memories will be priced at $19.99, and will have a 10% discount at launch.
Update: A statement has been received regarding the Vita version of 2064: Read Only Memories.
At the moment, the team is still working on the Vita version of the game and planning on launching it but there’s no planned launch date at this time. The team ran into some issues with the memory space on the Vita and are working on getting that sorted out. They wanted to get the PS4 version out there instead of waiting on the Vita to be complete but are still planning on working on it!
