SEGA Europe registered the domain “Shenmuehd.com” back in September 2016, along with “ShenmueRemastered.com” and “Shemnuegame.com”. You will notice their is a typo in the last domain, this is because someone used GoDaddy to register Shenmuegame.com the year before, probably hoping to cash in on the third in the series.
Publishers usually register websites just days before game reveals as they know the internet will notice them and spoil the surprise, so it’s a little odd that Sega have not announced a Shenmue remaster by now.
