Check Out The First Half Hour Of Rime

Honestly, I wasn’t entirely sure this game would ever see the light of day, despite the reassuring noises coming from developer Tequila Works and their new publishing partners at Grey Box. That was before they released a video showcasing the first 30 minutes of the game, via IGN.

It looks about as gorgeous as the original announcement trailer, and this extended play session demonstrates some of the early puzzle solving and the ability to shout at animals.

Now a multi-platform title, Rime is heading to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC this May.

  1. I haven’t watched all of it as i don’t want to spoil too much but there’s a lovely moment about 14 mins in. Also it’s funny how he is wandering this peaceful environment and about the only hint of anything approaching a ‘violent’ instance is when he himself shouts “Hah!” at the animal totems.

  2. Looks really good! Nice to hear it’s gonna be on the Switch too.

  3. Looks like a PSone game…

    • Bollocks.

    • That must be heavily roided PS1 then. It’s just a different art style and if that is PS1 levels, then man, my memory is incredibly bad. Kinda makes me question the quality of the PS4 if we were getting games like that 2 decades ago.
