Hold your horses, stop getting too excited because there’s one important word missing from the title Dreamworks Voltron VR Chronicles, and that word is ‘experience’. This isn’t the fully interactive robotic lion VR adventure you were hoping for, it’s a ‘”cinematic experience” with “moments of interactivity.”
“These interactive moments include several highly engaging puzzles as well as exciting missions where the user pilots the Blue Lion, battling Galra forces with an array of highly advanced weapon systems,” reports the PlayStation Blog.
That said, it does look rather gorgeous with an art style reminiscent of the Netflix cartoon. The showrunners from Voltron Force are helping with the experience along with the voice cast from the show.
Episode one of DreamWorks Voltron VR Chronicles will be available to buy on PlayStation Store from 26th September. The experience is also coming to Oculus Rift.
