How’s your week going? Mine is rubbish, just like last week which is why there was no Friday News Snatch so apologies for that. However, that does mean that this impromptu News Snatch is positively bursting at the seams with gaming goodness, starting with a story trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ.
According to the blurb, “Warriors suddenly start to fall unconscious with many incidents occuring…” so it sounds like Kevin Spacey is involved.
Staying the world of Dragon Ball there will be a crossover between Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Dragon Ball FighterZ, with a new game mode, Hero Colosseum, landing for free in the latter game. Hero Colosseum will have its own story mode where players will experience a tactical figurine battle, whatever that is, and there will also be other crossover DLC for purchase.
Here’s a message from Overkill and a quick look at PayDay 2 running on Nintendo Switch. 7/10 for the beards in this one.

Want to know how the Mass Effect Andromeda story will finish? Then all will be revealed in Mass Effect: Annihilation a new… book. You only have to wait until June 2018 to find out what happens, but as no one cares about the game right now, least of all EA, I can’t see it selling many copies.
A rather belated The Sims 4 trailer from Paris Games Week.

A launch trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds, which is bloody good. Something I forgot to mention in my review was that this is the first game where I’ve spotted a male character with hairy shoulders, rather than just fur in the middle of their chest. Aren’t games wonderful?
And Finally, I have no idea what is going here but it appears a child with super powers like flying through the legs of a huge lady with a perky bottom who is fighting a man-shark. The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia comes to the west on 9th February 2018.

I’m looking forward to Skyrim VR, it’ll be the biggest test for VR yet. And in the meantime a new selection of VR game demos has gone live on the store.

Considering how much animosity Mass Effect Andromeda gets, it’s still pretty expensive everywhere. I’m keen to play through it, but been waiting for a sub £20 price for absolutely ages…
MrYd
You could get it for £17.49 in the current PSN sale (for the next couple of weeks, with the PS+ discount)
Or you could download the demo version, which rather foolishly gives you long enough with the game to realise it really is as shit as people have been saying.

What’s up TC?

Whose got the hairy shoulders in Frozen Wilds? I wonder if armpit hair ever gets long enough to become a shoulder combover?
