Metroidvania action platformer Dandara has added unique twist on the genre by basing the heroine on a real-life Afro-Brazilian heroine from the 17th century. Makes a change from a astronaut in a sexy space suit I guess.
As ever there is something nasty to battle, in this case it is the Eldarian Army which Dandara must fight to restore order, bring hugs, and give everyone a free puppy. Probably.
The game launches on PlayStation 4 on 6th February.
