Games with Gold typically features a pair of Xbox One games and a pair of Xbox 360 games playable through backward compatibility, but Microsoft are kind of jumping the shark this time by having one of those 360 games be the digital release of a Dreamcast classic: Crazy Taxi.
Sadly the Xbox Live Arcade version of Crazy Taxi had to ditch the brand placement and rocking soundtrack, but the gameplay is all there. Alongside it as a 360 game is the excellent Split/Second, while the two Xbox One games are Shadow Warrior and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India.
As always, there’s staggered availability as follows:
- Shadow Warrior – 1st February to 28th February
- Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India – 16th Feb to 15th March
- Split/Second – 1st February to 15th February
- Crazy Taxi – 16th February to 28th February

Split/Second is one of my all time favourite racing games. Shame I already have it, but nice to see it on BC!

Agreed, it was so good, such a shame it didn’t become a series. A new one could look fantastic.
