Donnie Yen has confirmed a report from last year, and is going to be a part of the upcoming Sleeping Dogs movie. The actor confirmed the news via Instagram. Fans have long thought that Yen would be a perfect fit for Wei Shen as you can see in the picture below.
The earlier report suggested that Neal Moritz would be heading the project. Moritz has previously worked on The Fast & Furious franchise, The Jump Street movies, and the Total Recall remake so would be a good candidate for producing a movie based on Sleeping Dogs
