Lumines Remastered Coming To Switch, PS4, Xbox One & PC [Updated]

I remember losing hours and hours of my life to Lumines on the PSP, and it’s been great to revisit this musical block-dropping puzzle game over the years, through sequels and remasters on other platforms.

It’s going to feature both local multiplayer and HD Rumble features that make your controller vibrate to the music and your actions. Given Mizuguchi-san’s penchant for synesthesia in his game, it makes perfect sense.

  1. Or you can play it on the PS4. Using 4 controllers, apparently.

“Strap the other three controllers on your hips, put them in your pockets, or place them near your feet!”

Or down your pants or something weird. For cheap thrills. Although an extra 3 controllers isn’t really cheap.

I’m sure the controllers come with a warning not to attach them to any body parts. And now it’s being encouraged?

That’ll be many hours of May sorted then.

  2. Can’t wait for this – Lumines is probably one of my most-played games of all time.
