A Total War Saga: Thrones Of Britannia Release Pushed Back Until May

I think it’s fair to say that gamers as a whole have become much more accepting of the occasional need to delay a game’s release. With the number of games that feel like they needed just a little bit more time in the oven, it’s much better to have to wait a bit longer for something that hangs together much better.

At least, that’s what SEGA and Creative Assembly are hoping, as they’ve decided to push the release of A Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia back by just a couple of weeks. It was originally set to release on 19th April, but it will now be out on 3rd May.

The key areas they’re looking to improve are quality of life user interface improvements, tweaking the campaign and battle AI balance, and ensuring that the battles are more polished with collision damage, radii, drag-out widths and more.

Given how busy the Total War franchise is right now, from Warhammer to the newly announced Chinese historical game Three Kingdoms and the returning Total War: Arena I’m sure people can manage to wait a little longer.
