Twitch Prime Is Giving Something Away To Console Players At Last

Twitch Prime has been lavishing PC owners with goodies for ages, most recently they announced they would be giving away free games each month starting with Superhot, Oxenfree, and 2.5D beat ’em up Mr. Shifty.

“But what about consoles owners?” I tweeted Titch Prime and was met by silence, but obviously it had some effect as it has been announced that PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will be getting something! Woo! What is it?

It’s early access to Tera, a free-to-play game, which launches on April 3rd. You also get some digital trinkets, a dragonette pet, some keys, a crown, and fifteen days of ‘Elite’ status which boosts your gold and XP.

Now don’t get me wrong, Tera could be fabulous (it looks a bit Monster Hunter-y), but giving consoles owners a couple of days early access to something which is free anyway isn’t that generous Twitch Prime, where’s our copy of Superhot?

Here’s how to get your free gubbins:

  • Sign in to Twitch and hit the Prime Loot icon to grab a code.
  • Visit and create a new En Masse account or log in to an existing account.
  • Once logged in to your En Masse account, enter the code you received from Twitch.
  • Select your console and you will receive an additional code.
  • Enter this code on the console you chose in Step 3.
  • Download the TERA client, create a character, and join a server. Once in-game, you can find your loot in Item Claim (accessed from the main menu under the TERA Store sub-menu).
