Arizona Sunshine Gets Prequel DLC In May For PC VR, June For PSVR

Arizona Sunshine was one of the first wave of VR shooters to get it right, both on PC-based VR systems like Vive and Oculus Rift, and when it came to PlayStation VR and they went to great lengths to support things like the Aim Controller. Now a story expansion is set to take players back to before the events of the main game, dropping you into a military setting and giving you the mission of trying to stop the spread of zombies in the American Southwest with a nuke.

Dead Man is set for release on PC – HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality headsets – on 24th May, and then for PlayStation VR some time in June.

The DLC features three new weapons – a fully automatic submachine gun, a two-handed shotgun and a tactical handgun – which leans on the military theme and Special Forces background of your character. PSVR owners get to choose between using Move controllers for dual wielding, the Aim controller for two handed weapons, or DualShock 4.

As in the main game, you can play in co-op, and there’s a range of difficulty levels, including Apocalyptic Mode. The game’s being updated so that masks you unlock in the DLC can carry forward into the main game.
