The Division 2 Will Feature Eight Player Raids, Out In March 2019

More details have arrived regarding The Division 2 at Ubisoft’s E3 conference, beginning with a look at a brand new CGI trailer that shows how far Washington DC has fallen. It shows the US capital falling to tyrants as martial law and public executions as survivors fight for resources and power. The trailer wasn’t the only thing that was shown for the game as Ubisoft also confirmed additional details of what players can expect post-launch.

One of the major announcements was that The Division 2 will feature raids where up to eight players can team up. That wasn’t all as in year one three major content updates will be released adding new missions and areas, with these updates known as episodes. Furthermore these episodes will be free to all The Division 2 players keeping the player base from getting fragmented. Post story mode players will unlock specialist upgrade paths sharpshooter, survivalist, and demolitionist. These classes will each have exclusive gear and be useful for the post-campaign content.

Finally, there will be a beta for The Division 2, and the game will be launched on March 15th 2019.

  1. The post release support sounds pretty phenomenal honestly.

Liked the first Division just fine but found it difficult to progress, especially when playing alone, like 95% of the time.

  2. Looks incredibly good, but I was already pretty stunned by the first one, visually. I’m looking forward to it.
